Jewish Life Television/JLTV proudly announces the addition of the children’s program “Rhythm ‘N Ruach” to its weekend morning line-up.
Joining the animated series “Bible Stories for Kids,” which is distributed by Chip Taylor Communications, “Rhythm ‘N Ruach Shalom at Home” is an original production of Joyful Judaism Productions and is making its television premiere on Jewish Life Television on Saturday, August 15, 2020. Following “Bible Stories for Kids,”
“Rhythm ‘N Ruach Shalom at Home” will air on Saturdays and Sundays at 5:30 am, 8:30 am and 11:30 am ET.
“Rhythm ‘N Ruach: engages parents and children through music and movement to connect families to Judaism through upbeat, high energy music. “Rhythm ‘N’ Ruach” intertwines Jewish music and rhythmic instruments while offering joyful auditory and visual learning that is participatory, educational and fun. “Rhythm ‘N Ruach” is hosted by Shelley Dean, known as Morah Shelley, and Adrienne Suson, known as Auntie A.
Shelley Dean is a native of Milwaukee, WI and currently lives in St. Louis, MO with her husband and four children. The granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, Shelley is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds a BA in Psychology. The founder of “Rhythm ‘N Ruach,” Shelley commented: “It is my mission to bring Joyful Judaism to children and parents alike and to be able to broadcast ‘Rhythm ‘N Ruach’ on JLTV, the largest Jewish-themed television network in North American, provides just that opportunity.”
Adrienne Suson grew up in Denver, CO and currently lives in Silver Spring, MD, where, as a certified Early Childhood Education Director, she works as the Operating Partner at Rhythm ‘N’ Ruach, along with running her own programming around town. Adrienne received her BA in Human Development at the University of Northern Colorado. Adrienne remarked: “Nothing drives me more than my dual passions – early education and Judaism. To have the chance to educate younger children and their parents about Jewish life, holidays and traditions through ‘Rhythm ‘N Ruach’ on JLTV is the biggest gift of all.”
JLTV’s Senior Vice President of Programming Brad Pomerance commented: “When Shelley Dean blindly sent me a link to an episode of ‘Rhythm ‘N Ruach Shalom at Home,’ I knew within five minutes that this television program belonged on JLTV. Shelley and Adrienne’s energy and enthusiasm jump right off the screen and I cannot wait for our audience to dance and sing to ‘Rhythm ‘N Ruach.’”
